The new website for the Sandberg Institute (post-graduate studies affiliated to the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam) is made by Luna Maurer, Edo Paulus and Jan van Bruggen.
The website is completely dynamic - besides the content the whole appearance can be changed via a content management system: the size of the grid, the colours, the subgrid, and the positions of the cells. Edo Paulus programmed new behaviour (algorithms) to the grid. He also gave a sound workshop were students are invited to make interactive sound engines that can be attached to the grid. See on the website who's currently playing.
The previous version (online 2004-2007) was made by Luna Maurer and Edo Paulus - it is
still accessible (content outdated)
The website was nominated for the Rotterdam Design Prize 2003, selected for the European Design Biennial, exhibited in the Design Museum London, published in Deep Sites/animation by Max Bruinsma.
